Story time for babies in the inner west

Libraries across the inner west host a range of rhyme and story time sessions that are perfect for babies and children aged 0-5 years old.

The inner west libraries have three different types of sessions.

inner west story time

Book Buddies – Suitable for ages 0-2 years, Book Buddies introduced babies and carers to actions, rhythm and nursery rhymes in a lively and stimulating session.

Story time – Suitable for ages 3-5 years focuses on stories and rhymes that encourage a love of books and a desire to learn to read. Sessions support pre-schoolers with listening and language skills and being comfortable as part of a group in a fun and engaging way.

Family Tales – aimed at ages 0-5 years, Family Tales introduces the enjoyment of books, rhythm and actions in a lively and engaging weekend session.

All sessions require a parent or carer to attend too. These sessions run during NSW public school terms.
