We checked in to the Leisure Inn Spires in Leura for our recent trip to the Blue Mountains and if you’re a family looking for a self-contained apartment for your trip, this accommodation is sure to tick the box.
Owned and operated by StayWell – the group behind global luxury hotels such as the Park Regis and The Prince Akatoki – the Leisure Inn Spires has everything you need right at your fingertips.
Our one-bedroom apartment featured a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave and dishwasher, a dining area and a lounge room with TV and electric fireplace; what more could you want from a Blue Mountains get-away?
The main bathroom included a shower and full vanity, while a separate laundry was available for anyone needing to throw on some washing.
A large balcony opened off the living areas, with plenty of room for a group to enjoy a meal or drink outdoors, while a second balcony came off the main bedroom and overlooked a communal courtyard; a safe place for children to play.
The bedroom itself included a queen-sized bed, built-in wardrobe and plenty of space for a port-a-cot, which was provided for us by the Leisure Inn.
The stay also included free wi-fi and secure undercover parking with internal access to the building.
The grounds themselves feature grassy areas and picnic benches, so there’s plenty of space for the kids to play outdoors.
We found the room clean, tidy and modern and carpeted floors created a safe and easy environment for our little crawler to get around in. It was also whisper quiet at night and the block out curtains meant we all had a nice little sleep in, undisturbed by the morning sun.
The Leisure Inn Spires is also in a fantastic location, within walking distance to the main strip of Leura, and right across the road from the train station. We ventured out on foot for breakfasts and dinners, enjoying some delicious local eats.
