Performance sportswear brand, ASICS is hosting the World’s First Netball Festival Celebrating Confidence. Golden ticket winners will receive a free pair of ASICS NETBURNER BALLISTIC™ FF 3 netball shoes, that they can put to the test in multiple skills workshops with NETFIT.
Golden ticket winners between the ages of 10 to 15, and their ‘number one supporter’ (parent or guardian) will join this exclusive Netball Festival and meet ASICS Ambassadors and star players from the Diamonds, NSW Swifts and Silver Ferns. On the day, the professional players will be involved in the skills workshops, take part in a panel offering their advice to younger players who may struggle with confidence, and offer shoe and gear signings. Attendees will also have the chance to snap a picture with their role model at the ASICS Village.
These exclusive workshops will involve group warmups and smaller sessions, where the players will learn new skills and play with the pros. Workshops focusing on attack, defence and team building will be customised to help build confidence in the young players’ game.
Ahead of the workshops and the ‘Rego & Hype Zone’, winners can have their hair braided and will be given an exclusive T-shirt to wear and take home, alongside a goodie bag filled with must-have items for young sports players. The day will also include a healthy snack box for each winner and other surprises along the way.
Over at the ‘ASICS Village’, the ‘support crew’ (parents/guardians) will be treated to a complimentary coffee, cookies and access to a ‘comfort corner’, where they will be able to get a complimentary massage and relax.
The festival will be held in Sydney. To secure a place players need to tell in 25 words or less why they want to build their on-court confidence.
