Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies – This Spring school holidays, join in an enchanting world of song and dance as the adventurous Tinkerbell flies into the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. Along the way, she’ll meet up with some fairies from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the cheeky Mustardseed, fluttery Moth, daring Cobweb and sweet Peaseblossom; who will help Tinkerbell on a magical quest to find her lost wings. Spring School Holiday Activities @ Darling Square – Enjoy a day of fun, creativty and good food. Paint a library bag workshops will take place from 11am-2pm outside the Exchange. This is a free workshop where kids can design and personalise their own reusable, Spring themed library bag. All materials will be provided. While kids get crafty, they can also enjoy a live DJ performance mixing up party favourites and kids tunes. Spring School Holidays programs @ Powerhouse – Powerhouse and TAFE NSW will present a new series of Creative Studio workshops for Western Sydney high school students at PHIVE Parramatta. The spring school holiday program will focus on videogame creation and engineering, inviting students to develop creative skills in collaboration with leading Sydney creatives, scientists, and educators. Sep 28-Oct 13.
Awesome Black Founder and Gamilaroi and Dharug artist Travis De Vries will use gameplay as a creative tool to guide the next generation of video game developers. Sep 30-Oct 2. Big Sand creative director Sally Coleman will lead a three-day motion capture workshop using Unreal Engine, a popular 3D platform used to create iconic games including Fortnite and Ginger and the Vegesaurs.
