With Easter falling earlier than the school holidays this year, it means an extra long weekend where you might be scrambling to find things to do with the kids.

Paddy’s Markets Haymarket & Flemmington – Find the Paddy’s Easter Bunny on the weekend and snap a selfie. Both locations will be open Good Friday through to Easter Sunday. Closed Easter Monday. March 29-31. Haymarket & Flemmington locations.

BridgeClimb Easter Egg Hunt – Get ready for an egg-stravaganza like no other as BridgeClimb Sydney welcomes back the Easter Egg Hunt for the second year running. Climbers 8-years-old and above can count the number of Easter Eggs hidden on the Sydney Harbour Bridge throughout their BridgeClimb journey and enjoy some well-earned chocolate once they have conquered the Climb. Mad Hatter Easter High Tea – This Easter, the Sir Stamford’s High Tea Buffet is the talk of Wonderland, featuring a spread of fine sweets and savory treats that would make the Mad Hatter himself jealous. 11.30am-2.30pm, Saturday, March 30, Sir Stamford, Circular Quay.

Easter @ Mosman Rowers – Kid’s eat free all weekend, even Good Friday. Saturday from 2pm there will be an Easter egg hunt, competitions and more. March 29-March 31, Mosman Rowers, Mosman.

The Bowlo’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Bring the kids for a fun-filled morning of hunting for eggs that the Easter Bunny has hidden on the green. The Hills Easter Show – Aussie NightMarkets are taking over the Castle Hill Showgrounds this Easter long weekend. Live performances, an animal nursery, face painting, balloon twisting, Easter egg hunt, showbags, pony rides, character meet’n’greets, plus rides, games and more. Kid’s Club @ Crowne Plaza – Designed to offer families a haven of excitement and entertainment, the Kid’s Club ensures children are well cared for in a safe and fun environment. Fairfield Easter Fair – This huge five day Easter event is jam packed with rides, showbags, an Easter egg hunt, food trucks, fireworks at 8.30pm each night and lots more. There are animal farms, dog and reptile shows, wood carving, antique trucks and sandcastles too. $2 entry. 10am-10pm daily, March 28-April 2, Fairfield Showground, Prairiewood.

Easter Egg Hunt & Colouring Competition – There will be free face painting, an exciting free Easter Egg Hunt, and you’ll be able unleash your creativity in our coloring competition. 11am, Sunday, March 31, Blacktown Workers Sports Club, Blacktown.

Tall Ships, Small Ships – This is a unique storytelling experience which visits three small ships and two tall ships and will delight audiences who appreciate Australia’s maritime history. 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm, Saturday, March 30, Maritime Museum.

Ramses & The Gold Of The Pharaohs – Travel back in time to Ancient Egypt and immerse yourself in the captivating world of Ramses and the Gold of the Pharaohs. The exhibition will feature a remarkable display of gold artifacts offering a glimpse into the opulence and grandeur of the pharaohs. Plus, check out the museum’s Burra kid’s play area. Ramadan Nights Lakemba – One of Sydney’s most popular cultural events, Ramadan Nights Lakemba, has returned. The spectacular month-long cultural event is a vibrant, global food bazaar. Break your fast or try new foods and experience the rich culture and traditions of Ramadan. There will be over 65 food stalls to tempt your tastebuds, in an atmosphere like no other. 6pm-3am, every Thursday-Sunday until April 8.

Most Blessed Nights Liverpool – Travel to faraway lands with Liverpool City Council’s bustling bazaar lined with tantalising sweet and savoury delicacies in celebration of Ramadan, Easter and Passover.
