If you’re looking for things to do with babies in Sydney’s North, take a look at GymbaROO. If you’re not sure what GymbaROO is, you’re likely not alone!
Specifically designed to “increase a child’s capability to learn”, GymbaROO and KindyROO provide “neuro-developmental” programs for children from birth until five years. What’s also great about GymbaROO is that parents can get involved too.
Classes are broken up by age group and are tailored to each age’s developmental stages. They begin with non-crawling and crawling classes and go right through to school readiness classes.
During the classes, participants (ie. you and your child) partake in a range of activities, from singing, hand play and exercise to music, dance and games. They also have small equipment activities using beanbags, ribbons, balls and ropes and there’s also the big equipment play gym which lets children of all ages explore and play.
Not only are the classes fun for the kids, they’re also a great way for local families to socialise.
GymbaROO and KindyROO are a franchise, with locations all over Sydney. Classes run once a week for 45 minutes and usually break over school holidays. You can join anytime of the year with fees adjusted accordingly.
