Sydney Streets: Haymarket – The series kick-off event will include a mahjong pop-up from Soul of Chinatown, dance battles and DJ from Dancekool and ice cream specials from newcomer Whisky Gelato. All ages. Saturday, Sep 21, Hay Street, Haymarket.

Springfest Family Fun Day – The Willoughby Public School Annual Fete, enjoy rides, games, a magic show, jugglers and bubbles, live music and entertainment, face painting and balloon art, rock climbing, a petting farm, a selection of food trucks and more. Noon-4pm, Sep 21, Willoughby Public School.

St Ives Food and Wine Festival – The festival returns this Sunday, bigger and better than ever with live entertainment and family-friendly activities. 10am-4pm, Sep 22, St Ives Village Green.

Beetle – An instant Australian classic, BEETLE tells the story of a child who finds a friend in her backyard, the elusive Christmas Beetle. Together, they go on an immersive journey into the Aussie bush, fusing puppetry, physical theatre, circus, projections and original illustrations in this imaginative new story for kids aged 6+. 10am & 1pm, Saturday, Sep 21.

Cooper St Fun Day – Experience a fantastic day out at Cooper St Reserve, featuring a brand-new All Abilities Playground and Active Sports Youth Precinct. Enjoy a full day of family-friendly activities. 10am-1pm, Sep 21, Cooper St Reserve, Engadine.

Chiswick Spring Produce Market – From 9am till 3pm, Sunday Sep 22, artisan stallholders and award-winning producers will take over the Chiswick lawn to showcase their goods. All ages. Stallholders include:

Meet Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse – Meet Gabby, the star of Gabby’s Dollhouse, for a cuddle, hand shake or high five. Our Gabby’s Dollhouse Meet & Greet lets children and adults alike get up close and personal with this lovable character for a caring cuddle and memorable photo opportunity. Taste Camden – This much-loved event has seen thousands attend to enjoy an abundance of food, drink, produce, alcohol vendors, live music performances and entertainment throughout the day. 12-5pm, Sunday, Sep 22. Camden Town Farm⁠.

Snow White – In it’s final days at Riverside Theatres Parramatta. A magical theatrical experience with a rollicking mix of song, dance and good old-fashioned fun with a modern twist, the show is hilarious one minute yet heartfelt and imaginative the next, with spectacular sets and costumes to wow the audience. Until September 21.

Moon Festival Lidcombe – A fun filled event featuring traditional and contemporary music and dance performances, an outdoor cinema screening, artisan market, art activities and workshops and some of the best Korean and culturally diverse food in Western Sydney. 5-9pm, Saturday, Sep 21, Lidcombe Town Centre.
